Assembled board, 2000 mAh cell, AS5600 encoder module, 20 kg load cell, two LED/phototransistor pairs pre-soldered to ribbons, all Dupont leads.

Before you order.

Do we need a 3D printer or any tools?+

No. Every part arrives printed. Assembly is thumbscrews and snap-fits; the first build takes about an hour with the guides, each lab a few minutes after that. Two hex keys are in the box.

What device does it need?+

Any Chrome or Edge browser with Web Bluetooth (Android, Chromebook, Mac, Windows) or a USB-C cable to a laptop. Nothing to install, no account. Data exports as CSV.

Is it safe?+

A protected low-voltage cell, light plastic parts, no blades or chemicals. The launcher fires a glass marble at up to 5.4 m/s — the handouts require safety glasses and a backstop for every shot.

Can I print my own instead?+

Yes — every file is free on the downloads page. The kit exists for people who would rather not; buying one also funds the next revision.

Returns and warranty+

30-day returns and a one-year warranty on the Hub board. Printed parts that break in normal use are replaced free; send a photo.
